I have a 1996 eclipse Gs-t, i bought about a month and half ago. It has a HID light kit on it and the brights do not work. When i turn my lights on it shows my brights are on on my dash but they are not. The brights indicator in my dash stays on and doesnt go off, but my low beams are only ones on. When I click it to turn brights on the light just shows up a little bit brighter. I think they are Tenon HID's.

sorry for triple post, but I dont have hid kit installed for brights. So i was wondering if i could buy one and install it for the brights? Also how can i fix my lamps so they dont reflect the light way off to the sides?

what kind of headlights do you have? the projector ones are the ones you put HID's in. I heard somewhere that if they aren't projector ones and you have hid's they are illegal because they don't point in one spot, they just spread everywhere in front of you.

That is normal unless you install a relay, you are backfeeding through the high beam circuit, my solution for short term was to wire the hid into the low beam circuit and not use the high beams (no point in using the high beams when your hid system is much cleaner light) I backed the high beam pin out of the connector at the headlamp so that it couldnt backfeed.
