I finally found some time to put in my Illumina shocks and springs. The install took about 4 hours. The stock shocks were a bitch to get off and apart. Installing the tokicos was a breeze.
The handing is a night and day difference from stock. Really planted.
The wheels are 18 x 7.5 Ace Arius. They weigh 18lbs, not bad for an 18".

Very nice!

What offset are those wheels and what tread size?

:)

Hey thanks.

They are 43mm offset with 225/40/18 tires. There is plenty of clearance all around. :)

that package would look sweet on my silver spyder!

What settings have you tried on the Illuminas? :)
I've tried 1, 3, & 5. I have had them on 3 for daily driving and the ride is quite nice. Tight but not harsh. 1 is very soft, feels stock. 5 is like a brick. Upgraded sway bars and sticky rubber would make better use of setting 5. ;)

It was an incredible difference going from stock to these. Tight and completely in control. Definitely one of the best mods to the car so far. It looks totally bad ass now. Nothing looks better then a sweet set of rims and a drop. :D

Agreed, and yet I wasn't convinced that a new suspension was worth getting soon until I took a ride in a modified Talon with springs & adjustable shocks. The difference is night and day and worth every penny. Oh yeah, and it looks good too. :D

Worth ever penny indeed. Definitely one of the most important mods done to any car.

Thanks for the compliments :D
