my friend has a 92 laser with the following mods K&N, free mods, 2.5 downpipe, 3" catback no cat, boost gauge, mbc, 255 fuel pump, and a 16g turbo

Is it safe to run 20psi ?? if i run it lower like 15 or 16 psi will it affect my car like fuel overflow or sumthing

he needs injectors to turn it up that high. He probably needs a fuel pressure regulator with that big pump. He'll need an s-afc with the injectors.. and something to tune with like a logger to go along with the egt. Get to work! lol.

Anything over 16 PSi becomes iffy - it really depends on the condition of the car and how all the systems are working together. The only real way to know is to get a couple of diagnostic tool you didn't list - an EGT gauge (vital!) and a datalogger. On a 1G you can use the datalogger to keep tabs on knock, and that's one major indicator of whether the car likes what you're doing or not. The EGT will tell you if you are burning hot enough to damage the engine. Also very important.

You can do it on 100 octane with low(10-15 count) levels of knock if everything is working as it should and your timing doesnt dip below 15 deg. You will need some sort of hacked maf or dime store fcd as you will hit FC hard at that level.
