Whats up guys, Im new to this so bare with me. Well i just got my hands on a 91 talon tsi AWD and Im looking for some help. When I crank her she starts up at about 3500 RPMs (real high). After that, gradually the engine slows down and just stalls. I can feather the peddle to keep her going, but as soon as I stop she just stalls like described above. Im wondering if this could be the TPS? Looking for anything to get me started on fixing this problem. :(

Thanks,
Justin

Go to http://www.vfaq.com and look at the Intake Section for info on how to set the BISS correctly. Then make sure that the Idle Speed Switch (the sensor that's at the top of the throttle body which has a single wire connector going to it) is barely touching the throttle plate. If not, adjust it. If that doesn't help you, do a little search on how to adjust your TPS correctly.;)
