94 with a 6 bolt?

I threw timing on my 94 GST and I can see all the marks on the top of my pistons where my valves hit so it's time for a new engine. Right now I have the 7 bolt and I want to know if all the mounts are the same for the 6 bolt, and if there is anything else that I would need to change to make a 6 bolt fit?

this is incorrect, if your using a 7 bolt head it depends on when it was made, there is only ONE hole that has to be drilled out 1 mm on the Cylinder Head for 12 MM Arp Head studs to fit, I have a 1994 Non Turbo GS Seven Bolt Head ontop of a 1991 GST Six Bolt Block and it works fine, i had a performance shop drill the hole for 10 dollars, they did my valve work as well though

;) It wasn't incorrect. Without modding the head you have to use the 7 bolt head studs.

I have done the swap a 91 talon tsi engine into a 94 n/t eclispe gs and as far as going from 7 to a 6 bolt it's pretty straight forward. All mounts line up fine. Just need to get a flyweel and clutch(if you have a manual) or a flex plate (if you have a a/t) other then that it drops right in.
