Here's an update...

I replaced most of the vacuum hoses and checked the BOV and the car began running normally (the the engine rpm's was sticking at the rpm when boost occured ie., if the car boosted at 3500 rpm then it would stay at 3500 rpm until I either turned it off or if I put foot on clutch and hit the gas a few times. It would also stall out at at when ideling--the rpm's would go below 500 and engine quit)

Just drove the car 1400 miles and really had no problems. The only thing that gave me any concern was the stutter/clunking that occurred when I wot, but I'm thinking that this was just the wa kicking in. This stutter/clunking was completely avoided by not flooring it while boosting.

Thanks for the help.
