Remember when you were in grade school and they tried to teach you things like the scientific method? These are great times to try to use those skills that you were taught...

As questions like: Does the noise happen when the car is off? Does it happen when the car moves only? Does it happen when the car is in reverse? Does it happen when the car is in gear but not moving? Would you be able to have someone try and listen to the noise while you drove? You get my point.

Once you start to answer these questions, you will get closer to the answer. I am in no way trying to be an ass. I am simply trying to get you on the track to figuring out the issue as soon as possible for yourself, so you can get rid of them.

Ok! To answer all these questions...
No The noise does not happen with the car off. Yes it only happens when the car moves. I do not know if it will make the noise on reverse as my first post stated that it only happens in the speed range of 15mph-40mph and I never go reverse that fast :D. Honestly, I don't have anyone to help me hear for it...

But yeah thanks for the help.

1. Does this noise occur while you are turning?
2. Does it happen at all times between 15-40mph? If not, does it happen when you press down a pedal?
3. What kind of "squeak" is it? Is it a squeak only going over bumps? Is it a constant irritating high-pitched squeak?
4. Help us out here man... Be more descriptive if you actually want help locating your problem.

Yes its a high pitched squeak that always happen at that speed if I am turning or not, with the pedal pressed or not. The squeak seems to speed up as I speed up but disappears as soon as 40mph hits, but comes back if I decrease speed.

Maybe it relates to my shifting? Because I shift to second at 15mph and shift to fourth at 40mph. Could that be a suspect?

Also, check to see if it is speed related or gear related. If it is happening only in gears 2-4, you might be able to narrow it down to a driveline related squeak. From what I'm hearing, I would agree with goalie40 without being there.

Try staying in 3rd gear past 40mph and report if the squeak still disappears.
+1 for posting a video. That would be helpful.

I would have leaned more towards the speedo drive, having owned three 1g's and had them all act up in the winter at one time or another.
