Just want to say first, i did search, i spent my lurker week looking thru the site.
95 Eclipse GS with M/T, i started getting the rattling throw out bearing noise. before it was intermittent, now it is constant whenever the clutch is out.

My questions are,
Do the TOB have grease fittings on them?

if they dont:

Where can i get the Mitsu TOB?
Should i just replace the clutch plate while im at it?

Thanks for any help.

You forgot to use the shift key for your I's! No the TOB does not have grease fittings and it depends on how many miles are on your car for the clutch. But hell, why not?

Just read them. I noticed there were alot of threads on this topic but i found nothing about if they were greasable or not, i did not want to take the tranny out if i could just grease the bearing.
But thanks for the info.

There is an inspection plate on the transmission, right? It seems like a waste to take it out just to change a $30 part.
And for some reason the bearing stopped making the noise, but my shifter would rattle every once in a while. So I'm pretty sure something is about to go wrong.

What are you laughing at? It's not a joke and I would consider your worthless post here nothing but post whoring. Are you looking for a quick ban?
Damn Rippin, DSM'ers are few and scarce. The poor guy is new here, give him a chance. I don't mean to bardge in on your powers or anything, but I think we should atleast explain what he's done wrong and give him a chance to correct himself. This is a community; we should be encouraging new members, not scaring them away - atleast that's my opinion.
