Seems i am seeing only 13PSI, no matter how much i turn the turboxs base boost controller. i got it hooked to the wastegate and into the turbo since they recommended that way. and the solenoid is all blocked off as it should be. not sure why i can't get it to go above 13PSI though? i am an auto, maybe its not revving high enough? or is there something that is holding it back since i am stock other than the K&N FIPK.

if u got a 2g you need a new blow off valve. the stock one is plastic and leaks at around 13 psi. u can get a cheap 1 g B OV that will work perfect or get an aftermarket one.

I see, i was thinking that was the case. good thing is this: got a 1G bushur Blow-off and dave brode upper I/C pipe coming this week. Bad thing is this: the BC is probably set at like 18PSI and i have no idea how high it is set at this point. guess i will turn it back a few and see what happens after i install the 1G BOV. if i see 15 or 16 and rising, i will let off and adjust until i see a steady 15. or i could go back to all the way negative, and start adjusting from there. thanks.

yeah i know. that is why i am a bit worried about stomping on it with the BC jacked up after i install the 1G BOV. but like i said, i guess i will knock it back a turn or three and i should be right around 15PSI. which is right where i want to be. modding backwards is bad. lol. just that summit got me the BC first before dave got me the I/C pipe and all. so i had to install it. :)

If you haven't done the fuel pump hard wire, go ahead and do that now. It will help insure that you have enough fuel, just in case...

yeah, thats true. hey....when you used race fuel, did you see any problems like fouling the o2's real bad really quick? i never use it on my '96, but have used it on the '79 bumping the timing up (No o2's or anything emissions related on that car). as far as cars with 02's though, i felt it may foul them, and they are expensive. with the turbo cars though, i figure for a grudge match or for a track run looking for a good time, that it would be helpful to use like 100 octane or a 93/110 mix. just curious to your experience. thanks.

Don't worry about overboosting once you get the 1G BOV on. The first time you go out for a drive, just watch the boost gauge. If you clear 15PSI, get off of the gas and adjust the controller. Overboosting for a second or two is not a big deal.

those cheap bastards at turboxs are something else. i mean really, supplying one hose that is too short and twistie ties for clamps. i had to go get two long pieces of vacuum hose and some fuel inj clamps since the little clamps on the car were a tough fit on the larger nipple of the new BC unit. the way they have you do it is so that the BC is sitting almost underneath the damn car since you use their too short hose and the way too short stock hose on the turbo nipple. no wonder it was $75 bucks. but i "fixed" it for about 3 or 4 bucks. no big deal. Now with the longer hoses it is accessable. don't need to burn the shit out of myself on the radiator or the heat shield when adjusting with the car hot. And of course this install was different than what you see online here since it hooks into the turbo and not the BOV hose. reason i did not need a cap for the turbo nipple. lol. much easier the way turboxs has you do it though if you ask me. can't wait to get the 1G BOV in there and see how it sounds boosted up to like 15PSI with the bigger I/C pipe too. sounds great now, i got lucky with a car that sounded awesome especially after just the K&N FIPK. and its super fast for an auto also. ok enough rambling on..........:)
