Tomorrow after work I am going to change my blown out two front calipers. Do I need to bleed all four of them when I am done? Also what is the proper technique if I need to bleed all four? Do the back right then back left then front right and front left first, ie starting the farthest away? Thanks guys..

I read something that said there is a specific order to them and once you open the system you're supposed to bleed all 4.

I think it was in a 90-94 DSM Haynes manual, or it could have been a tutorial on removing ABS.

I have to go with OddRob on this one. That is always the way I have done it in the past with no problems that way.

yeah i just did mine last week... process is rear right... front left.... rear left... front right.... thats from the FSM... remember to pump that brake pedal with the engine off and key out to depressurize the system... dont want 1500+lbs of pressure shooting out at u...

the idea is to bleed one channel at a time, and the channels cross as you can see.

4 and 2 are front wheels, 1 and 3 are rear wheels.
Yeah, i always do it that way on an abs car. That's what the manual says so i go with that. On a non abs car, i just go start at the rear passengerside and move my way closer to the master cylinder. Also, you may as well bleed the rear while you are at it. Since you will already have everything out and whatnot, just spend the extra 5 minutes to do them.
