I recently installed a Blitz BOV in my 2G GSX, My Check engine light came on and is reading P1105-Manfacurer Control Fuel Air Metering, I've checked other posts saying it's the fuel pressure solenoid, but could this code be reading because the Fuel to Air ratio has been changed when the system blows off. Would there be any problem with this for NC emissions checking. Any help would be great! Thanks.
Now I dont know about NC but in Georgia if you have a check engine light period you can't get tested.

I don't even have emissions in the county I'm registered in so I've never had them done, there may be exceptions.

It is most likely due to you venting to the atmosphere. My buddy triggers the same code in his 3000gt after installing an HKS bov that vents to the atmosphere.
What HKS bov is it? The racing SS and the standard ssqv are pull type bov's and dont have a piston. There shouldnt be a problem with those. I vent my ssqv on my Galant no problem.

I have the same engine code problem but I recirculate into the intake as recommended (I have a Greedy type "s" BOV)

Called my local dealer and they said it was the the fuel pressure selenoid (so I ordered one but not in yet)

Now I wonder if that is the problem or not?
What Gives?
How would that be any different than the stock BOV? Its the same mechanics and if you recirculate it then nothing has changed from stock except the sound is a little different.
