Well I'm glad to hear it worked! I'm just not sure it will "hold"... if you can solder it that would be safest (as RippinGSX suggests).

 

If anything you should have soldered first and then used JB weld. The JB just doesn't seem like a good idea for that.

 

The jb weld worked believe it or not.I did'nt fuse two wires together,I welded the wire to the connection I scraped down to.I reconnected the battery and she fired right up.Thank God.Thanks for your help,I think she'll hold,if not I'll solder the sucker on.

 

??? You used JB Weld to fuse two wires together?? Umm... I don't think that's going to work unless it conducts electricity. Picture would help a lot.

 

I cut off the crap around where the connection is made.I got down to what used to be a male fitting[I think],I striped the wire down and used jb weld.I had a hell of a time getting it to take.I hope it holds
Think this might work?.

 

Depends if there is any wire lead left sticking out? If there is you could remove the pump and solder a new wire on there.
