i dunno i personally am not a big fan of chinese lettering on odd areas of people's cars such as taillights. here's what i did to mine to make them subtley stand out.

Thats cool. Yeah im not much for the yellow but i like mine. And its japanese not chinese. but its ok. If i were a real samurai i might have to kill you but i will let it slide this time. lol. My headlights are going to be like that too. And i also ordered a custom gauge face with a samurai on it where the old boost gauge used to be. since i use an aftermarket one.

I was thinking about just getting a few chrome Mitsu emblems (like on the new 3G eclipses) and putting them over the middle of the taillights. it would look cool during the day, and they'd be silhouetted when the taillights lit up.

I am not a big fan of asian symbols on cars but it looks like you did a nice job with the design.

yea i really need to, but as with almost everything it takes money, and i've got alot of other things that need done first though. although both my 5 puck clutch and 3000gt vr4 fuel pump just came in today. and then its on to paying off my engine and new shocks. then save for the shootout, and mods.

I have to disagree. I could do a lot of things my self but it wouldn't necessarily look good. Anyway, i think that the thread starter's plan was executed well but could be more subtle. Personally, those are the people i would try to race right away if i saw that. Keep in mind my car is not far from stock. I would still be confident though.....

 

Well no one races here where i live. I wish someone would though. My car is definately fast. its not just show. and my point wasnt to be subtile. I am making a show car. And show cars have to be attention grabbing or you dont win. But even though i am making a show car i am still building up the engine also. i dont want all beauty and no brawn.

I didn't know tail lights were paper lanterns. Interesting idea in theory though. I'd be more worried about someone running into my rear end considering how much those are covered up.

A much more proper word for you to write on your tail lights would be the following: kome kodomo, or if you have JIS encoding •ÄŽq‹Ÿ ^_____^
