Decah VDC... Trash?

I was talking to altalon (aim screename). he owns the gold 95 talon with the quwheels widebody kit on carbonwerks.com, he said that he had the decah vdc installed on his car and after 3 or 4 shows with the doors up, the shocks gave and his doors smashed onto the ground. has anyone heard or had the samr thing happen to them. im looking into buying the kit, but i dont want $1500 down the drain...

I have heard this from a few others as well and also have seen a guy around here with the kit. His door don't come crashing down BUT they do not stay up on their own. He will use vise-grips at shows!!!

well that sucks, do you think a bigger hydraulic will keep the doors in the air or what. i want them to stay up, thats gay if they go up then right back down basically defeats the whole purpose...

I know the guys at Kazetech supposively redesigned the kit so it uses an linier actuator instead of a hydrualic strut, leaves the worries of having a tank and such out of the equation. Hopefully they get the new site up with info and pics.

well autoloc made a lambo kit with 8" linear actuators:

yeesh, not cool.

that kit is Exspppeeensive, i would imagine you could custom a Hydro kit in there for cheaper.
