Yes I have a 93 Laser RS turbo with a 7bolt crank. Does it matter if I replace it with a 7 bolt crank out of a 2g? I just need to know if theres a difference. please help asap. Thanks guys

they are interchangable, but the 2g cranks are horribly built, i wouldn't even think of getting it. They are possibly a cause of crankwalk. IT is not proven yet whether it was that or the squirters. Some may disagree though. I would just try to find a good 1g 7 bolt crankshaft to save your self the hassle down the road.

A 6 bolt engine, 6 bolt flex plate "possibly" torque converter.

You can't use the crank from a 97-99 2g either.
The crank has some thrust washer thingy, bullshit... can't remember.
But its different.

If you use a crank from a 2g your a tard.
Fucking garbage.

overbore can cut'em and re-nitride them.
As an alternative.
