This review is on a ChromeIntakes 2g Cold air intake.
The pipe looks fairly decent, chrome, and fits well. I took a dremeil tool and ported the inside of the turbo side because it seemed a little thicker in that spot than the rest of the pipe. It came with almost all the neccessary hardware except new bolts to bolt tthe MAF adapter the MAF sensor. 3 bucks at autozone fixed that problem though. The filter is a K+N knockoff, but instead of a plastic cap on the top of the filter it has a type of funnel pointing inward with more element exposure. This little funnel sits straight in front of the factory outside air piping (or whatever u call it). I dont know if this sucks any water in when it is raining though.
Performance wise, i can tell a difference in the low end of the rpm range as well as the upper end. It has a nice sound to it, and makes my factory 2g BOV sound 5x louder than stock(thats good for 40-50hp in itself lol)
Overall it a good buy, it fits well, looks good, performs well, and it was $52 shipped and i got it in 3 days.
