For 400hp I would look for a good condition used oem crank .. I would try some of our vendors to see if they have any laying around. Or I would try jacksonmachine shop awesome ppl and good products.

well oem is a good choice if the crank isnt cut, the motor did well with a cut crank before but im skeptical on doing it again? the motor came back out because of a blown head gasket that showed me some beat up pistons from a knocky tune from titan motorsports. Should I just run a cut oem crank?

I am running a oem 100mm crank. I wouldnt run a cut crank unless you really trust the shop that can do the work. But to DSM4LIFE-AWD oem cranks are to the highest quality compare to aftermarket .

 

Sorry LoKi. My decision is going to probably be using the OEM crank which is cut 10 over. From what I hear the 95-99 7 bolt motor didnt receive nitrided cranks anyways, can anyone clear this up for me? On another note I am somewhat fed up with this car right now so this build needs to be right!

 

Don't use a cut crank....please. Pick up a used OEM crank. They are plenty and cheap and will work. I only recommend aftermarket cranks like Eagle for guys running a built 2.3/2.4. Save your money.
