Hi I was wondering where I can get a replacemet for my Eclipse tail lights?

I have the rare red and amber ones on my car. The European or Japanese spec ones. I can't remember where I got them since it was over two years ago and had them shipped to me.

But I had a friend back up into my Eclipse tonight and crush my tail lights and bumper and I need to get them replaced.

Where can I get them and how much? I need them asap. They are for the 2G Eclipse. And I live in the US in Texas.

Thanks.

Yes, I want the euro spec tail lights. Those are the only ones I like on all of my 2G Eclipses. The red and amber ones. I just need an another set for this car. My friend she backed up into this Eclipse and crushed my bumper and my tail lights with her truck. She wanted to pay me for the damage but I didn't want to tell her how expensive and rare these lights were.

Where and how much? I don't care about the cost, $400, $500, $600 whatever they cost. I just want another set and need them asap.

It was an accident. She wasn't paying attention and stressed out with things on her mind and before I could tell her to watch out I just heard a big CRUNCH !!! And it was too late. Her truck basically crushed my rear bumper and my beautiful red and amber Euro spec tail lights. I believe I paid about $475 for the ones on that car.

So now I need to track down some new ones.

Thanks for the link on MachV. Those are the ones I want. I don't mind paying $569 but 4-6 weeks to get them?

I want these lights in 1-2 weeks at most.

Any other places I can get some of these lights? Or other people that will sell me some? I don't mind paying $500 or $600 but I want them in good condition and pretty quick.

Doesnt matter, she would be paying for them by cash or ass for the lights.

The reason why it takes so long to get the lights is because they have to be shipped from over seas and must get past customs.

I just wonder if the ones from MachV are new?

If I am going to pay $1,138 for a set of these tail lights I hope they are new. I don't mind paying but just hope they are new or at least in excellent condition.

Anybody have a nice set or know where I can get a nice set with no scratches or cracks or damage and in very good condition for about $750 to $800?

Dude, the ones machv is selling for 569 is for new tail lights for BOTH SIDES. Just order one of those, it comes with both tail lights. You'll probably still need to get a center piece, but you just get that here in the US, same with the bumper cover, bumper support, and bumper shocks.

If this dude was willing to spend $1200 for a pair of tail lights, then money is oviously no issue for him.

Do you have any pictures pre-crash with the tails? They must look damn good if you are willing to spend that much. You can get the OEM red ones on ebay used for like $50. I don't think they look that good on Mach V, but on a car I'm sure it looks better.

Thanks, whew I though $569 each. That's not too bad at $569 for the pair. I was thinking $1,138 for the pair but if it includes a set then that is better. It's just that when I went to the checkout it made it look as if it was $569 each since it automatically put in 2 by default.

Are you sure it is $569 a pair or each? The website makes it look like $569 each since when I clicked on add to cart it did 2 by default and made my total $1,138. Maybe I clicked it twice or something.

I'll show you pics of them on my car before they were crushed. That car is painted in the Barcelona red. I forget the color. I think it's called Barcelona red. They look really good.

And on my black Eclipse they look really nice too. On a gray Eclipse they look okay but they seem to look better on darker color Eclipses like black, dark gray, Barcelona red, and dark blue. It brings out the contrast of the red and amber.

I like them though. They are the only tail lights I use on all of my Eclipses. They just look really nice in my opinion. I would only use those or the stock red ones but I prefer the red and amber Euro spec ones.

Those that got crushed last night when my friend backed her truck into them I think were about $475.

Then ones on my black Eclipse were I think $500 even. And I have a set on another Eclipse I paid about $380. And some others that were like $400 something. That was years ago so I can't remember who I got them from or their contact info.

Basically what happened is I was at her house and the driveway is in a way that the only place I could park was behind the garage with the back facing the garage door about 10-15 feet behind the garage door. She opened the garage door and backed her truck out without looking plus it was a little dark and I saw it before it happened but by the time I yelled at her too stop she came out too fast and I heard a big CRUNCH !! I just cringed my teeth and was like ahhh man there goes my bumper and tail lights. Sure enough the bumper was damaged and my tail lights crushed.

She offered to help pay for the lights but she was thinking they were about $100 but I didn't want to tell her how much they actually were and told her not to worry about it. Right now she doesn't have money to be spending on stuff like this. I'll just get a new bumper and have it painted and get some lights to replace it. I am not worried about the money just being able to have them replaced and get my car fixed to original condition as quickly as possible.

Accidents happen. It's not like she meant to do it. She just had too many things on her mind and wasn't paying attention.
