If I read correctly, you are asking what the difference between lifter tick and rod knock are...?
The differences between rod knock and lifter tick are:
1. Lifters are in the head
2. Rods are in the block
3. Lifters make a "tick"
4. Rods make a "knock"
5. Lifter tick can cause timing pull if bad enough, but from what I've read and experienced, does not cause any damage.
6. Rod knock will cause timing pull, and if you've got a knocking rod, you've probably got a pan full of bearing material, and some beat up internals. Next comes a spun rod bearing, and some more bearing material, destroyed rods/caps, destroyed crank, with the possibility of the bearing material working it's way into other stuff to destroy that too.
The difference is: lifter tick = minor, rod knock = new engine time (debatable).
If you're swapping in another 7 bolt...you really shouldn't have (as many) issues. I'd start slow on those mods.
Also, I'd work on your grammar and capitalization. You'll get your threads locked if you don't.
