hey guys i noticed on my mmcd datalogger the fuel trims never change!! What would cause this?? Im trying to tune my car with MAFT!! Please help guys!

Sorry they are all stuck at 100% I have drove the car around for a good 250 miles since I last disconnected my battery! I drove it around for a good hour today trying to retune since i just got my new 2.5 turbo back full exhaust done yesturday!

Your o2 sensor prolly is unhooked or broke. Thats the ONLY reason that I know, that it stays at 100.

I had the same problem. I unhooked mine to hook up my w/b.

It took about a week to put my finger on the problem...As soon as i plugged it back in..Bingo!

Check the connector, make sure its connected good.

Or plug it in knucklehead.:p

The leak you are speaking of is an exhaust leak. This could cause a different reading but not nearly what you are speaking of. Check if the o-2r is cycling up and down. Also check to make sure that the o2 ft is cycling(make sure the car has warmed up). If not, replace o2 sensor cause that will most likely be the problem.

You either have a lazy 02 sensor (AKA bad),
or you have a power supply issue to your ECU... not allowing it to keep memory.

UPDATE: I reset my ecu and drove it around for about 12 miles and the trims still havent changed! One thing i did notice was when im crusing around 3000 rpms, my o2s are always around 89 all the way up to 1.03 volts!! Since my o2's are not bouncing back and fourth mean's my sensor is bad right???

Please let me know what happens to your car! I just bought an O2 from them and replaced my old one. At Idle my voltages are bouncing all over... from .089 to .98 v. Im not sure if the o2 is bad, but it doesnt seem very likely.. I do think i have a small exhaust leak right below the o2 housing (down pipe connection, but very small.)

I am tuning the car with S-AFCII when I put the engine lean, it stays steady like its not picking up anything. But if i richin it up then it goes up and down, constantly. rear o2 has been removed. 1 long 3" pipe all the way back.

I put the boost up, and put 550cc injectors in it and then adjusted the fuel accordingly. Now, Im pretty sure I have some electrical problems throught out the car, but I dont think thats causing it. (Wiper fluid, passanger lock, passanger visor lights all dont work, prolly more too) (Also if the car sits for a long time... the battery will die, like something is grounding out)

Its a 6bolt swap, i think the MAF is 2g.

Also... I dont hear the fuel pump prime when I put the key in acc. My FPR stays the same too.

UPDATE: Hey guys i installed the new o2 sensor from oxygensensors.com and my fuel trims still didn't move off 100%!! Also i noticed on my a/f gauge my o2's only cycle at idle. When crusing at about 2500 or 3000 rpms at a steady speed my o2 shows in the really rich all the time!! PLease help also my car seems to run realy sluggish like when i give it gas it doesn't pick up and go like it used to! Also on a cold start its kinda hard to start!!!

If it isn't cycling then your computer is stuck in open loop. Reasons it would be in open loop are, WOT condition (check your TPS voltage) or vehicle not at operating temperature (check your coolant temp sensor and your thermostat). Another open loop condition would be "limp mode" but if your check engine light isn't on that most likely isn't the problem. Check your codes anyway to be sure.

I just changed my coolant temp switch today and it didn't change anything! So only thing left would be my tps sensor and i know that when im wot it only reads up to between 60 and 70 its never just one steady reading!!

Hey guys i know im not suppose to bumb my threads but i really need help on trying to figure out why my fuel trims wont change off 100%

New 02 sensor
New coolant temp sensor
Maybe your car just runs a perfect tune all the time... ;)

Does your o2 voltage cycle on the logger with the new sensor installed?

Lol i wish it rain perfect all the time.

It cycles but only at idle.... When just cruising it stays around 80 to 90 volts!
Hmm.. still on the stock ECU? That almost sounds like there has been an adjustment to your open loop throttle position settings.. either that, or maybe the TPS is bad. Plug in your logger, turn the key to the "ON" position, and watch the TPS on the logger while you press the pedal to see if it is reading correctly.

Your fuel trims are stuck at 100%,

I would try since you already replace the 02,Temp Sensors. Looking into doing a
4 gear pull and then try to give it about 3-10PSI on the highway. Thats how mine change driving on the highway and in 4th give it about part throttle 3-10psi and your mid-high trims should change.Remember watch for knock.

Its the stock ecu. I bought the car totally stock. The only thing i could think of is my tps is bad. When i turn on the car to the "ON" position my datalogger shows my tps bounces from 7 to 9 percent and when i open the throttle all the way it only reads between 60 to 70 percent.....
