I know stock they have a couple more HP then we do, but I didn't know they could go so fast with 3 mods

I love the WRX, but they fall on their face at 100 or so.

I spanked a built one with N2O, turbo upgrade, and big Front Mount. He did good until 100MPH

I beat a modded wrx. Not sure what mods it had but I could here an atmosphere bov, louder turbo (probably just intake), and exhaust (probably just a catback). He beat me off the line (didnt know we were racing ), but I ran him down pretty fast. Had him by about 2 car lengths by the end of third, at which point we both quit.

I have a ton of respect for WRX's, but when racing, so much relys on the driver. The person I raced looked like he was 13. He probably just got his license and didnt really know how to handle the car.

you also have alot of mods done to your car though. mod for mod, who is getting the bigger hp jump?

To add to the rumor mill, I work with a guy who road races and is sponsered by Subaru, he is first on the waiting list for the STI. Subaru told him that what ever the EVO comes with the STI will beat it.

I'm reading some of the threads on the suburau boards now and they're cars are pretty damn competitive.

Look at scores for WRC raceing and mitsu pulled the EVO out for 2003 (susposibly to come back in 2004)!!!!!

Well,a guy in our car club ran a 13.6 up here in Denver (5800ft asl) which would translate to a solid 12 at sea level. Maybe he has a factory freak or he just drives it well but I've seen the mods and the run in person and it was impressive.

I dunno on the wrx forums they seem pretty afraid of a DSM with a different turbo, and many threads say we are then out of there league for speed.

are there any other opinions? or are these 3 mods you are speaking of just come out or new mod chip?

most with the intake, exhaust and a chip seem to hit mid to low 13's. Very very few have hit 12's when you take the number that are modded.

I think BPU for BPU they will take us. However, mod for mod (after the T-25 is replaced) we take them. I think our engines are more durable and our cars just looks better hehehe...
