Car is stock on electrical and fuel system.
New spark plugs and wires. What happened was, while i was driving, the tach needle started to jump around 2-3k rpm and then started to missfire/backfire and then shut off. I tried to turn the car on again and it backfired and turned off again. I turned it on again and it ran fine but as soon as it made a sound of crackling like sparks in the engine bay, almost like loud injector clicking sounds, it turned off once more and i had it towed back home. Has anyone had a problem like this before? Anyone know what it could be? any help would be appreciated, thanks!
