that's sweet! what are you using to power those l.e.d.s, are you running off the car battery or do you use another source and then have it connected to a switch. Damn I'm in the middle of installing my alarm I just got now and it's a fuckin PITA to get the door lock/unlock wires under the driver side dash. It's very hard and I'm still trying to figure it out. Someone have an easy way to do this?

that wing is one piece, it just overlaps the quarterpanels, look at it closely, if it was three pieces the hatch wouldn't be able to open

Nah, you have misunderstood what I am describing. I know that it is not attached to the quarter panels. It is a 3 piece (originally, before the extra deck was added) because it is the 2 separate side pieces which are attached to the trunk lid individually and then the horizontal plane or deck. The others are usually one piece that covers the trunk lid and goes up on the sides and then the removable deck.

I am simply uisng the running light source in the back and tap these LEDs intot hat..I am not sure however if I am to put a separat switch to it so I can keep the LEDs on when car is off..would look really cool in the summer evenings..car is off and it still ligths up..so I will probably do it that way...from battery to LEDs with a fuse and a switch.:santa:

You need to update your sig picture :)

if you wanna do that in the summer where the car is off but you still have the leds on then I would just wire in a separate switch and then power that of say a couple little 9volts, and you could hide those in a cool box somewhere and it also gives you another cool switch to play with! lol

How long can some 9v batteries power all those led's?

i dunno, what the rating on those leds that you got EuroGSTSpyder? Are they just 10mA or 20mA from radio shack. I dunno how long the 9 volters would last but I wouldn't wanna take the juice from the car 12 volt battery, I've already gone through too many battery problems with the loner car I had while mine was getting fixed.

This may help. When I installed the alarm on my 91, I ran the wires through the door boot. You will have to remove the bottom portion of the panel to get in there. Take a clothes hanger or any strong wire and tie one end of the lock/unlock wire to it and run it through the door boot. Then have some of those plastic thingys to clamp all the wires together to keep it clean under the dash and to prevent a wire falling through. If I confused you just ask and I will try again.

you mean run the wire from the alarm to inside of the door? How'd you do that, I could hardly even pull apart the bundle under the driver side dash by the fuse panel. That is like the most crowded place in the whole damn car! I tried to feed it thru thinking it would be easier, but I dunno if the 1G are different but the wiring that goes from inside the car to the door there's a tubing that has a severe slant to it. Well, after about 4 hours of shit, fuck, damnit! I finally finished installing it. Boy does my back and arms hurt, lol. I managed to splice the wire (somehow, it's impossible to get a good grab on those bundle of wires with 2 hands in that weird ass position. I tried to remove the fuse panel by taking off the bracket with the little plastic screw near the firewall side by the clutch pedal and the other metal screw on the side, but I couldn't rip that damn thing off, anyone ever take that thing off before? Finally I got my keyless in, but it's being weird and shit. I'll lock it fine, but then after a while (just sitting in my house) then I try to go out and press the button to unlock to the little led light doesn't flash on the remote, so I hafta hold program for a little while for the led light to start flashing again. Then when I press unlock after that it unlocks but when I open the door the factory gay alarm (came with car, didn't have remote or anything though) goes off making a loud siren and I have to quickly pop the hood and disconnect the positive terminal. I finally got a little smarter and pulled the anti theft fuse in the panel so now it doesn't make the loudass siren, but the lights flash and I can't get them off. Can anyone help me out.

Hmmmm...I had that problem too so don't feel bad. It takes alot of patience. Yes the 1g's are cramped up too. Imagine me sitting upside down in my seat hooking it all up...lol. Okay first of all yes the boot is slanted like hell. If you take the clothes hanger and straighten it up you can feed it through. Be patient and move the boot to make the wire feed through. Be careful it will pop out if something catches then it is hell to put back on. Now when my alarm was acting weird it turned out to be that I spliced into the wrong wires. There are sooooo many of them up there and some will mislead you. Make sure the correct wires are hooked in the right places. As for the factory siren you may be able to hook it to the alarm you are installing by connecting the wires. I wish I could be a lot more help but you know without actually being there myself it is hard.

no the wiring is freakin simple as shit, unlock on the keyless to brown/white (maybe it was brown, i forget now, but i know i made sure when doing it correctly) and then the lock to the other, there were 2 grounds on it, 1 constant to the white wire on the ignition, then the antenna, they were all easy. Does anyone know how I can get my stock alarm to work with this? I really hate having to take off my freakin battery terminal everytime it does this, now i hafta carry around a 10mm socket with me at all times lol, it gets annoying!

Did the alarm come with a siren? If so cut the wires to the siren and splice them into the stock siren. I have done that to several of my friends cars. Considering that there are the same number of wires which should be two(positive/negative).

guys guys guys..*S*
I know how to do the wiring..not a problem.I will do a Vfaq on it when I do this mod I promise.I have the picece loose as you probably know by now and I will take pics of the LED install too when it is being doneI will do it in mid Jan cause thats when I am going to my uncle who will do the LED work...ok? Sorry for not being able to show it earlier.....:(

QuickOne- no it didn't come with a siren, it's more of a keyless entry with just starter kill option (which I didn't hook up, I had been too sore and tired to deal with it by then). So any ideas, anyone, anyone, where is the stock alarm actually located that way I can just disconnect the little SOB and "fogettabout it" lol.

find one on an eclipse site or something, enlarge it to the size you want, print it out and cut it, then tape it on so when you paint the center and take off the emblem you still have that in red or you can do the opposite way if you want.
