Hi y'all. Just today I picked up a 93 eagle talon to use as a winter beater. It's got 130K on it, 5-speed, the thing only cost me 500 bucks.
Unfortunately, it's maroon. While not as bad as bright red, it's kinda homosexual, and I was trying to come up with ideas on how to make it a little less so. It's already got a lebra on the hood, which helps a little. I plan on buying some cheap ass black rims off ebay, and re-doing the tint in the back 3 windows so it's black instead of purple. Any other ideas on how to make it look like a man drives this car instead of a 15-year-old girl?

this is a train wreck. dude...the word lebra, and the implication of it making your vehicle appear LESS homosexual are fairly mistaken..it makes it Much more homosexual..i guess ur talon is only wearing the training lebra since it doesn't have the matching whole front end sized lebra. so that explains your 15 year old girl complex...and as far as the statement about eclipses being chick cars due to the fact they own them. i feel thats false. I how ever do know that a lot more girls like eclipses, then say the automobiles your building these 350s you claimed to be building for power. So i dunno what to tell ya.

I'd be fortunate to drive your talon. Mine is a red talon with a black rear eclipse bumper and no front with a bent frame. I mean its still a nice car just one little tiny problem, it has a spun bearing. Right now my motor is out and I'm a little too busy to pull the crank out and have it re-ground.

Be fortunate, and screw what others think, if you are sexually insecure about your car, paint it.

why are you going to attempt to tint it yourself...its gonna look worse than the purple tint, and even if you do get it to look good you can buy decent tint...Gila and walmart brands all fade within 6 months and offer no warrenty, if you are going to get it done do it professionally they probbly won't charge more than 160
