The physical installation should be exactly the same as a 2G MAS into a 1G. But I believe that the signals coming off of the 3kGT MAS are a little different. You MIGHT have to do some tinkering with the electronics (not completely sure though).
i was told the mas was identical on 2g eclipses, 3kgts and diamantes
