How to replace antenna plug to radio??

I just installed my Mp3 player and b4 that, i accidentally broke off the plug that goes into the antenna slot. is there an adapter that i can just buy and cut off the antenna wire and just crimp it in there? or do i have to buy a whole new antenna wire. I can't get any FM or AM stations.. really sucks not having an antenna.. any advice from the experts??

Splice a new one on there. Just make sure your connections are really good and isolated from each other.

yes, just crimp a new end on the wire (or what's left of it). it is just a standard coax cable. there is a very thin wire in the very center of it, and a braided shield around it. the braided shield gets AM reception, and the single wire in the middle will be your fm.
