OK so i like my car being dark, and i dont like those damn lights under the dash...does anyone know of a way i can turn them off? I tried pulling the bulb out but it doesnt seem to want to come out on each side..

which lights are you talking about? the ones in the footwells or the one behind the speedometer......another different one? i have taken my tsi awd apart interior wise and i can probally tell u whats up.
The lights in the footwells are only on when the doors are opened and are supposed to go off when the doors are closed. Are these the lights you are talking about? More details please.
right, if these are the lights you are talking about, them they can just be pulled out to turn them off. also, if you do not want to take them out, try cleaning off the terminals on the door jam. this may be coroded and by cleaning them , this will give a good connection and allow the lights to turn off.
