Top right hand corner of your screen under where it says "Welcome mtrivera" is something that says private messages. Click that link and it will take you to your "PM box" where I sent you a message to read as a little heads up.

Yes, that is normal for these engines. It is so they warm up quicker but then they just drop back down to normal, although you could set your idle down some.

**Side note - Try to learn to use your "shift key" before everyone jumps down your throat. **

^^^^ Oh shit, my bad. ^^^^

Well, 2000 RPM's is not normal for sure. When I read the thread, I thought he meant that 1000 was his normal RPM.

well i dropped the idle to about 900 rpms after it was warm. then when i went to turn on my car the next morning it just turned on then turn off so i had to tighten the screw so my car stayed on. its annoying having a car idle at 2000 rpms

mine does the same thing, it pisses me off, turn on the lights it'll drop below 400 rpm and go back to 600rpm, most of the times it idles at 900rpm, im not sure what the problem is!

I have sent both of you a PMs already about following Rule #7. I strongly suggest reading it over again and starting to follow it. There will not be another warning.
