I will start with the car...97 Eclipse gst, i was runnin it through town doin fine, all of the sudden it died and came to a rolling stop...Prior to, it wasnt missin or makin any weird sounds...So far i have replaced the ICM, cam sensor, crank sensor, coil pack, plugs, wires...all the goods...I have fuel, dont have spark...I am wondering if the ecu is junk...any thoughts?

I checked the fuses and they were all good...Whats a mpi fuse?..Sorry im new to these things...BTW i got to my ecu and its the MD version er sumthin like that...But i checked the board over and it didnt smell or look like anything was bad...
I know it seems simple, but i've just recently watched somebody replace all kinds of parts over a blown fuse even though "they were good". Check it with a meter, One could have burned somwhere besides the window. might as well be sure.

have you tested the transistor?

the car will turn over no problem...The timing belt is still in good shape and the thing is in time still...I think i am real close to giving up...i had to go buy another car yesterday becuz i was stranded...What transistor r u talkin bout...Like i said i have never messed with forced induction before this car...

Transistor is part of the ignition system. Sometimes when you get no spark and your coil pack, wires, etc are good it's the transistor.. I have one laying around here too if you needed it.

I havent done a compression test...The engine has around 10000 miles on it now and the oil doesnt have anything in it...I know i dont have spark cuz i removed a plug wire with an extra plug and held it to ground...ALL four plugs did not hit...when it broke down i had it on trailer and went to auto zone to see bout codes...it read none....
BTW if anyone is interested, the whole damn thing is for sale...I bought a honda!

If there's no spark, most likely bad coil pack (which you replaced), ECU (which you replaced), or a bad power transistor (which you did NOT replace yet). When the PR went bad on my 2G, it only ran on 2 cylinders. Swapped it out, and the car purred like a kitten.
