Is it possible to change the main bearings while the engine is in the car?
I've been trying to track down a knock in a freshly rebuilt bottom end but I've narrowed it down to the main bearings. Rods are straight, verified straight, torqued once, installed correctly, no wind was present, moon was aligned.
Any input? Just want to know if it's possible to install the mains in exactly how they came out and if there was any luck??
