At least here in P.R. most clubs are extremely Riced-Out-Wanna-Be Fast and the Furious. Thus I try to stay away from them.

I live in ocean city maryland, I know theres deleware DSM but I don't live in deleware and I know about capitol area but I don't live near the capitol, I'd like to start one for our area but theres only a couple DSM's that would join, would I be able to join capitol area even if I live on the east coast? I'd really like to represent in some sort of club

I don't see why you can't be a part of DSMCA. We have members all over the place including Delaware, West Virginia and Pennsylvania as well as Maryland, Virginia and DC. I would like to see our club have more meets spread out around the area, that way we could hopefully have a meet closer to you. Until then I suggest trying to attend GT6 in Manassass, VA. Are there any clubs in the KY area. Im in Lexington and I see DSMs all over the place but I dont think there is a club down here. Id be really interested in working with people who really know these cars.

Right now that site is down getting a much needed facelift. If you want to be on the mailing list you'll have to join through Yahoo groups. Here Just click on that link, then click on Join This Group If you already have an account with Yahoo you can go ahead and enter your ID and password. If not, click on Sign Up Now to create an ID. You can customize your membership to have the posts sent to a different email address if you don't want to use the Yahoo address. You can also select how you would like the emails sent to you; individually, daily digest, or special notices. Right now you can't select viewing them through the website since the site is down. If you have any problems or questions you can im me @ Swtstrbry9 on AIM, Yahoo Chat, or MSN Messenger.

I'm 45 minutes south of Philadelphia and an hour north of the (southern) DE dsm club. Several of us northern DE dsm'ers have been talking about organizing for years but nothing concrete yet.

I still like going to the CADSM meets at Bull Run park though, it's just a long drive to do anything more than that. Haven't met up with anybody in Philly yet.

Correction, its June 21st. I totally missed that. Anyway we'll be firing up the grills for hamburgers and hot dogs at 12 and we'll keep them fired up until 2pm, so come hungry We're also having raffles and several contests such as; Go Fast with Class, King of Bling, Fastest FWD/AWD, and Best Overall DSM. There will be several vendors there as well. We're inviting everyone to come down to Bull Run Park in Manassass, Virginia even if you're not in DSMCA. We have people caravan down from New Jersey and all sorts of places so feel free to come.

Not yet. My boy AJ & I are in the process of starting one. So far we got 6 cars lined up. Four nts(one a Spyder) & two gsts. Were currently debating rather we want it to be strickly dsms or to include all sorts of other cars like our friend JJ's '95 Celica. I'd prefer to include different stuff but I'm only co-founder...

 

there is a michigan club dsm, although they're typically not huge on giant get together's. they have a decent mailing list you can sign up to though since their forum hardly gets used.
