hey guys , my 2nd gen gsx makes a clunking sound when i fully release the clutch , it feels like something is loose. people are telling me that that usually means there is something worng with the drive shaft or something of that nature.. any ideas? if i let go of the clutch really slowly, then it engages fine but when i give it gas and let go of the clutch then it thumps, this is as best that i can describe it.

my dsm only has 50k , so i doubt it's the drive shaft. could it be mount. it sounds like somehting external as opposed to something in the tranny
