I think it came out pretty decent, but it might look alot more natuaral if you painted the trim pieces in the ceiling.

Yea that’s the next project that I will be working on. I just have to figure out what colors ill be using so it doesn’t look dumb or too flashy.

 

How did you get thw fabric on the door panels? I want to do that are on my panels but they appear to be one piece

 

Well I had to take everything off of it. I’m not sure if it’s the same on a 1g but for a 2g you just turn the door panel over and start taking about 30 screws out. Then you have the fun part of putting it back together I think I have 8 screws left over and I can’t figure out where they go. Oh well everything is where it needs to be and it’s staying. I still need to do the drivers side so maybe ill look at that one to see where the rest of them go.

The first time is always a learning experience and takes the longest. Enjoy it for awhile and then maybe go back and redo the door panels and get them perfect.

I did mine too and it looks like you forgot the most important step. Whip out the credit card for smoothing!

 

I say you need to paint the plastics black. I'd go with something semi gloss. Make sure to use a good prep cleaner and plastic promotor spray before color. I'd recommend SEM paint, not cheap but awsome results. I just did my dads headliner and visors as well.

 

Looks pretty good for a first time. Was the suede hard to work with?

 

Looks beautiful, I've been putting off my headliner for a few months actually. Did you have any trouble getting it out of the car?

 

I was wondering if you also did the moon roof part that slides?
Do you know how to go to that sliding part?

 

Looks good with the black headliner, I wanted to do that to mine since the previous owner must have liked to put his hands on the stock white one. I figured a black headliner would look awesome since my dash and everything else is black.
