· Faster and more accurate than factory Cam Angle Sensor.
· Timing belt whip and cam torsional vibration no longer effect ignition timing.
· Allows intake cam timing adjustments without resetting ignition timing.
· Compatible with all factory electronics (uses OEM 2g connector).

Also, if you have a COP setup, you don't need to buy an expensive timing light or remove one of the coils to add a piece of wire to check base timing. This is bolt it on, and forget about it. Some people also like to run their RACE CARS without the timing covers, so there's no reference point to check the timing. This also makes 6 bolt swaps on 2g's a bit easier.
Maybe K_Mans might want to add something here.

The sensor is locked at a +5 degree advance, you might get +-1 degree in adjustment through the sensor but just like 2gs in the past base timing is not adjustable through the sensor, it would need to be done through the ECU either by chip or DSMLlink.

There was talk on Link forums of a 12 tooth version for aftermarket ECU setups as well but for now this unit works with the factory ECU.

Has anyone used this yet?

It looks sweet.

What would be the advantage of the 12 tooth?
