Recently my car has developed a problem where after it warms up it WILL NOT restart until about a hour. The car starts almost instantly when cold.
Current setup is a fully built 2.0, 272's, jmf race Mani, q45 tb, 3.5" maf with translator, hx52, 1550cc inj, ECMLink v3 full.
I have changed the cas, new plugs, cleaned the tb out, cleaned the maf. None of this has helped. After about a hour of cool down I can crank it and it will sputter, I have to pump the gas like crazy for it to start. I have tried adding and pulling fuel with link, neither helps. My fuel pressure is good at 43 psi.
Also a new problem has come up in the last 2 days, I can be driveing along and out of nowhere the car goes totally lean, shutters, surges, and dies, and of course won't restart. I can activate the fuel pump with link and it works just fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions?? It is impossible to tune the car like this and I'm trying to make a event next weekend.
Thanks,
Bob.
