max boost on stock 450cc

What's the max boost the stock 450cc injectors can run without maxing out the IDC?

Does the turbo have anything to do with it ?

Yes, turbo has a lot to do with it. 10psi on a Holset HX40 would easily max out 450s while 17psi on 13g probably will not.

To answer your question, it depends on the turbo. Invest in a pocket logger at the very least and check for yourself.

No point in having them if they aren't enforced. So it's either enforced or you'll be trying to read "mi dzm wuz goin fast andd sumbdin popd. Ani ideaz?"

I'll take enforced!:D I mean, no offense to 90gsx_luis, but he can always just remember it in the future. The mods aren't trying to scare him off..

I hit 20psi on the stock 450cc injectors with a ported evo III 16g, it was only once because my wastegate hose snapped, I immediately stopped the car and took care of the problem. It pulled like you wouldn't believe but I wasnt chancing my 4g63.

Just keep the boost at 12psi until you can buy the supporting mods.

I have 3 options for you.

1- Sell the car, 0 psi. If you can't read or do research, on these cars, imagine working on them... Sell it and get out now.

2- weld the waste gate shut and let us know, we might forgive you.

3- 15 psi and don't look back. Start reading, learning, and saving money, your going to need it, and possibly and English class.

Hi, im new here, ive got a 96 gsx, and im having this fuel cut out problem also. At least when i try to run over 12psi. My check engine light is calling for the upstream o2 sensor, could this be my problem because i have an air/fuel gauge but the car seems to be ok according to it. I can turn up the boost to around 17 and it pulls fine till about 4500rpm then its like some one turns the key off for a sec then im back in it till it cuts out again, any advice is apprecatted thanks
