This is the start of my build up of my 92 talon, im currently in the process of getting the car stripped down and doing the body work and getting it painted. So far i removed the rear spoiler and filled in the holes for that, and the antenna, and put a laser hatch on.. i want my car to be different so it will have a 1ga front end with 1gb tsi sideskirts and tail lights, with no spoiler at all.. and the rear bumper cover was cut at the bottom for a diff look, the car will be painted very dark gunmetal (almost black) i already have the paint... just gotta get all the body work done... will have more pics up soon..

i completly gutted except for the dash. and cut the rear floor out and replaced it with some aluminum sheet metal which will serve as my fuel cell firewall as the fuel cell will be mounted in the stock location...

Everything looks good, I like the door panels, I plan on doing the same thing, just wrapping it with black leather.
thats a pretty good idea, i was thinking on just painting them black, because there all scratched up, but i think if i just scuff the aluminum you wont notice all the scratches, leather would be sweeeeet tho

Loving the trunk and doors dude. What's going on under the hood? :D

thanks everyone for the complements!:D

going under the hood:
stock 6 bolt rebuilt bottom end with, ported and o ringed head, arps, BC 280s, BC springs and retainers, fidenza cam gears

other mods planned:
erl cast t4 manifold, t4 t67 turbo (not sure yet), tial 44, 1000cc injectors, full fuel system... -8 feed -6 return, bosch 044 pump, 10 gallon aluminum fuel cell. fuel lab fpr... dsmlink or aem..24x12x4 fmic, custom 3 intercooler pipes, jmf smim lots and lots more stuff in the works and planned out..

right now primaly focused on getting the fuel cell finished up, getting S&W 8pt rolll bar ordered and welded up. and the paint and body... i already have the rebuilt motor and o-ringed head, just have to get the head ported..

i also just ordered the 24x12x4 fmic and a bunch of 3 inch aluminum mandrel bends for the intercooler piping, ill get some pics of these bad boys when they come in......

Just curious to why you arn't building the block?, you wont even reach the potential of the T67 with stock rods. Just curious...

Built block would be the 1st thing going into my race car :)

because i dont have the money right now, to build it up, so thats whats going in for now, i know i wont get the full potential of the t67, but you cant underestimate the 4g63, people make over 550awhp and 100s of passes on the stock block.. if they can do it so can i. im not looking for much more then that, ill be happy with 500awhp, that in a 2600lb car with slicks. is plenty for me.... if i had the money it would be a diff story, but i make due with what i have...

Nice build. But if your going through all of that, you dont think it would be benificail just to go ahead and build the motor? All you really need is a set of ross pistons and eagle rods.

yea when i do build the motor it will be eagle rods ross pistons 20 over.. the stock block will have to do for now tho, one thing at a time, this car is not going to be done soon its gonna take alot of time and money, i do what i can when i can... time and money is limited at the moment.
