I have been searching dsmtuners and this site and no one has asked how to check the manual transmission fluid or grease. Where you fill this? I did buy a chelton's and a haynes manual. Some reason there is not a detail description how to fill this. I been searching all over. over 30 pages on the transmission forum. i cant belive that this questions hasn't been put in the 1000 questions. Does any one have a pic of what this hole would look like?

If your talking about the trans fluid, you remove the filler plug on the front side of the trans and fill it till some starts to come back out, install plug and that's all.

I don't have a picture available right now but it's a big bolt that says "oil" on it

Very front of the transmission, look for a 17mm bolt, really, its that simple.. faces the radiator.

Best I could do, its in that area, 17mm bolt.

Also, make sure to have the car level when filling the transmission.

I'd drain it and fill it up with new fluid.

ok so drain it it should be a bolt on the bottom right? any pics of that?

Taken from the original pic from EE, If you click on and look in the center of the CROP that I did you will see the drain plug, Its big although I don't remember the exact size.
