Was looking for BG Synchroshift or BG synchromesh and came across this on the shelf of the auto parts store....... Stood there for a long time contemplating....... Decided to ask you guys what you think.....
My Speedometer sensor broke and the tranny was leaking.... Figured this is a good time to change the oil.... I have Notchy shifting and occasionally wont't go into First gear or reverse. I have to let go of the clutch than depress for it to go into gear sometimes.......

Thanks...

I'm using that kind and it works great.. Save yourself some money and get it from there. Oh, and by the way - It's GM Synchromesh, not BG.. and the pennzoil stuff is called synchromesh, not synchroshift.

Tarantula was just getting the two mixed. BG does have a product that alot of DSM'ers use called BG Syncro Shift while like you said the Pennzoil stuff is Syncromesh and is direct replacement for the GM Syncromesh that TSB-92-22-002 recommends. :)

Yeah I know, I used Synchroshift II before I used Synchromesh. I think I like the mesh better, and it's WAY cheaper.

Thank you guys for all your help, as always......

I put that stuff in, and like always I put 50-50 in my tranny to protect everything..... I didn't like the fact that it is soooo thin, so I put one bottle of that Pennzoil and 1.3 bottle of Lucas oil stabalizer.... And it works like a charm.... feels smoother. Now my Slave cylinder is going (new clutch) due to the added pressure plate so just that and a Stainless steel line and I'm good to go.;)
