It does not interfere AT ALL.

hehe.. I think I figured out where I wanna put it anyhow.. to the right of the steering wheel basically in front of the gas gauge and temp gauge.. I can still see the gauges though.. ill take pics soon and show you..its not permanent but looks ok for now..

That what side vent are for. But you can run heat out of the center vent. I wouldn't because of the SAFC would over heat. Yes, there is a little bit of cold air comming out at all times because of the switch is flip to cold for now, but the vent is still funtional. And it looks kick a**

check this out. I found this last night..

I like the idea, the mold job was horrible though.. you'd also have to build some kind of a wall behind the AFC so it doesnt overheat or freeze from air.. all and all not bad though. and I love waht they did with the glove box.. I plan on doing that eventually

larryd, do you have problem seeing your fuel/temp gauges? Can you tilt the S-AFC? ....BTW,that's a sweet head unit.

you cant see the fuel temp guages if sitting back in the seat but if I lean forward like 6 inches I can see over top the AFC so its no biggy..

well i had white gauges on all of them but the two in the middle bubbled up on me so I took them off, the fuel/temp gauge is actually silver out of a 99.. I plan on replacing the boost/oil pressure with a 99 one as well eventually
