when i first bought my gst, on the way home this hose became loose and i lost all my power and at first i thought i was out of gas or something. I want to know if its replaceable maybe with a silicone hose? ive been searching the net for it but dont know the name or where to get an aftermarket replacement. thanks.

Your upper intercooler pipe? Did your car make a funny whoosh sound and loose all power at like 2500rpm when it fell off? They make metal ones. Search for Dave Brode on the web, he sells good pipes cheap.

Which one??? The big one with the mesh? Thats the intake hose...
Wrong. That would be the intercooler pipe.

Also, looks like your missing your CAS. Thats not good...
95-96 DSMs had the CAS on the cam side.

exactly what happened. So metal piping is the best for this? also what is CAS?

Enough with The misinformation! He is not MISSING a CAS! It is on the cam side. If he were missing a CAS, his car would not run.

Your paintbrush skills are top notch, but no matter how many circles or arrows you draw, the fact still remains......

I give up.

Its a 96 gst. also i checked into upper inter cooling pipes and they are the whole pipes that connect into the intercool. I just want to replace that hose for now.
Erik with jnz tuning can probably get you what you need.
look in the bottom section and link to jnz. Email Erik and tell him what you need. He seems to be very competitive in pricing.
