Hey guys.

Well yesterday I went out for a drive, and went to a friends house about 6-7 miles away. At most. I changed my oil a few days ago, and checked it yesterday to make sure it was all still there. It was still at the top. Good.

So I stayed at the friends house all day, and went home in the evening. This morning my friend calls and says his driveway is rainbow colored from oil. Not good I thought. So I went to check the oil, and it was bone dry!!

So I jacked up the car and noticed the back of the radiator was soaked with oil, so I looked around, and the oil return line was soaked with oil.

What happened was I guess from old age combined with winter salt, the turbo oil return line cracked, and got rid of all of the oil.

I must of driven 10 miles round trip with little to no oil. The engine sounds fine, but I was wonder if there is any probable damage? The engine and everything sounds fine, but who knows. I am a bit worried.

Hopefully the Mobil 1 protected well.

What do you guys think?

Thanks

I am assuming by the post that you filled it back up and the car runs fine now?

If you were gonna do any damage, you would know about it. You most likely would have ceased the engine. ANd car no more go vroom vroom.
