Got bored doing wiring so finished up some fab work on the weekend. Big thanks to Kris for helping me with some of the more difficult alumiunum stuff{thumbup} Pretty proud of myself I cut apart my old Moroso oil pan that was damaged and cut the sump etc out of it and made my own dry sump pan! All welding was done by myself on this part so be gentile on me haha {thumbup}

Got the lower intake piping welded out and the Wiggin's style clamp on and wow are these things the cats ass, positive lock, quick disconnect {thumbup}

Starting to make some progress its almost back to looking like its almost a car stage again! {thumbup} A ton of work left but def helps the motifation when you start looking at something more then a chassis!

Well, I just figured that I would give you some of what I hear about my ride when we think outside the box lol. Your yellow, my aftermarket bumper covers! I guess (in some peoples minds) my 4202r powered setup is rice because of my choice of bumper covers and yours would be because of your color choice.

Of course I'm just messing with you, but it does kind of make me snicker when I see Dsm's at the shootout that have rusted through rockers on them and greasy leaking engines with crowds around them, while anyone that thinks outside the box looks wise gets passed over no matter what is done to them. What I'm getting at is that if you took that to the shootout and left the hood closed and had tinted windows, it would get passed by in favor of a stock looking evo with rims :dunno:

To each there own I build the car for me and really couldn't give two shits what anyone else thinks. I plan to bring the car to the shootout if its running this year, and hoping to be one of the few 8 second cars driving around and running at the track. And stay tuned the yellow is going new color to come I would rather have a car that I built every piece on the thing then a store bougth slapped together "stage 11teen" setup any day. I think its the pride of knowing your car is one of a kind and a reflection of yourself not someone else. To me thats what the whole point of a custom car is anyway!
