Last night i was driving my car and i noticed that it was overheating. Today i was able to get a good look at it. The Alternator/water pump belt was torn off. I replaced that today, but then i noticed that my radiator fans were not turning. Is this normal?

does anyone else have a problem with this kid running around without a water pump??

I would keep an eye out for signs of atleast HG problems...

it is very simple to test all the fan circuits... pick up a manual and an DVOM and go to town... good luck

oh yeah.. the ac fan also comes on when a certain higher coolant temp is reached.. its like a back up.. in other words if you were over heating you should have had atleast one of the fans on..
