I just recently installed a boost guage and an air/fuel guage in my car but I dont know if the a/f guage is reading correctly. When Im driving the meter moves up and down like a graphic eq all over the place??? Is this correct. I would think it would stay at a level setting while I am driving not up 3/4 the way towards the air and all the way down on the fuel end and back up repeatedly. Mabey its installed wrong but I have checked it a few times and I have it going to all the right wires. All info would be greatly appreciated.

yep that right. that how the gauge works. from like 0- 1v
so it always changing. now what i did to get a more accurate reading cause we are talking only differents in milivolts,i used coaxial cable(like hd stereo patch cables)
from the ecu, to the gauge. this way the signal is shielded for any thing in the car that would bleed into the signal wire.it also has less line drop. after i did this , i noticed that i was running richer that i thought i was.
and the gauge seems alot more accurate that before. if responds quick.

shawn 95 gst.. car all messed up

Wow, too bad I can't remember posting that second post. I do remember waking up the next morning laying in my friends bed with a computer mouse in my hand, which had been disconnected from the computer... Don't ask cause I don't know.
