replacing the bearings on the idler pullys

Ok, I have seen many references to replacing the bearings in the idler pullys but I have never seen a description of the bearings to use or a VFAQ or anything on the procedure for doing this.

Is there anyone here who has done this and would be willing to give an explaination on it?

I have a bearing supplier here so the bearings should be easily available.. I don't think I've ever seen a bearing that they didn't have or couldn't get if not.

Would these bearings have to be pressed in and out? That is the sort of thing I would need to know. Maybe any gotchas that may be involved with this.

I really like the idea of replacing the bearings since its much more cost effective than replacing the entire idler pullys.
