How do you adjust the silent shaft belt tensioner? Is it spring loaded or manually adjustable?

I was swapping the timing belt and noticed the silent shaft belt snapped and was just kind of resting between the pulleys. Do you have to pull the crankshaft tb sprocket out of the way to slide the new belt in or can you sneak it past with a little massaging?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks:D BTW it's a '92 2.0nt

You have to pull the crank sprocket off, don't know why that was so hard to say by the above posters. The tensioner pulley itself is manually set and easy to do so. Check Vfaq.com they have a nice timing belt faq on there.
