Staged mods for the 4G63t. Helping the newb's out

1.Intake and filter
2.Exhaust
3.FMIC and piping
4.Turbo timer and boost controller
5.Clutch
6.Injectors and pump
7.Fpr
8.Turbo
9.Tune

All these should be good for 400whp and the stock bottom end does not like to hold up to more than that. This is if the motor is in good condition. Hopefully this helped out. These mods are in some order to help with what someone new should buy first. Please do not buy a boost controller and turn the boost up and post why your motor blew up after you turned the boost up to 25psi stock. Here is a video of some idiots. Watch the boost gauge.

Why do you need a list. Anyone who doesn't know isn't ready to travel that course anyway. It is lists like these that leave kids trying to slap parts on and not understanding WHY they are going on.

Fuel - what for?
Tuning? What is that!?

That list is useless. It does nothing to show what each modification will do for your car. It's counter-productive to people learning mechanical systems and whatnot. You expect to find some list like this and it will give you the path to 400WHP easily and successfully? It won't work, buddy! It is not education.

That car has all the supporting mods to run that power. People have mad over 500hp on the stock 7 bolt bolt but that person was not so fortunate. Know what you're talking about before you post things. Oh and that mod list is horrible. Excuse my negativity but this whole thread = stupid.

Making the boost guage and boost controller #1 would be a start. Actually, doing 100% of your PREVENTIVE maintenence should happen before even having ANY kind of throught about modding your car. Why mod a car that runs like crap? I do agree there should be a mod list. There is a good one on dsmtuners.

WOW! Sorry for the language but what the fuck! I am not saying stages like a stage 11 turbo from Ebay to put on my Honda Civic. I am saying it more like steps is that better. And what does this mean "If anyone would like to add some things chime in." Oh yeah that is me saying I am probably forgetting things because I was board and threw this Mark Twain shit together in 10 minutes. DSM8883 I might know you through some people I have known so I will come down there sometime. I have a bad attitude today. Sorry.

I really don't need anything. The mods on my car are extensive. Don't be fooled by the Newguy thing. I made 352whp untuned months ago. All I need right now is a bottom end, suspension and tune. I am looking at 450+whp when tuned. This was just a general description of what you would need a some kind of order like I said. These are only engine mods to, I am not talking about a boost gauge because last time I checked it didnt go on the engine.:banana: Thanks Unkacabull for not putting me down. IL. baby!

I think that is it. I might be forgetting something but yeah. That is it. I really need a tune to make the numbers better. I was on 20 psi with some boost leaks and blowby. If I ever get my computer to work again I can post the vid of me blowing my dipstick. Anyways, the motor is going to start getting built here in a couple weeks and when I get it the boost is going up, maybe meth and maybe a 50 wet shot. I won't have any traction. I am going to need to get slicks.

Uhhhh....you slapped all these mods on the car and ran it without any tuning whatsoever :wall: ....wow...your engine must be really pissed at you :eek:.....Im surprised it didn't do this :puke:

You installed all these parts but cant tune with an SAFC ??? :huh:

Let me guess you're a rich guy who buys mods....pays friends to do the dirty work....and then just sits back and takes all the credit!!! Please say it aint so :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

Yeah, I am a rich kid that is in the Navy as a E-3. Yeah, Fuck you! My friends logger took a crap and I can log anything so I am not going to make any adjustments when I cant see what the ecu is reading. Please, I come off as a dick sometimes but please dont say I am rich. My hands are to scarred up to not have put the parts on myself.
When the dyno was done I had the A/F so I tuned it a to that. I think the car likes it since 600cc bikes have a hard time keeping up.
