It goes boom?

 

You lose all benefit of the separated pulses and add some turbulence.

 

Probably nothing you'd have to worry about.

 

Zero effect , probably some turbulence.

 

Slightly slower spool is probably all you'd see.

 

It would be great if you had a quick spool valve.
