I'm curious about something. What headstuds are you going to use?

Just the good ole standard ARP's, nothing fancy. With the head gasket I run and the standard ARP's I have no issues what soever, ran all season in 2007 without pulling the head:D

Oh I don't mind talking about them at all. The cams I ran before the proto types from FP were just the HKS 272's. I made the switch back in July of 2007 with the FP proto types. These cams were simply amazing! My gt4202 turbo spooled 700rpm sooner then the 272's did. Mid range was absolutely nuts!! And top end was just a tad stronger then the 272's. But where it picked up the most is in the mid range and help dramatically in the spool department. It got to the point I had to kill some of the power through out the midrange since every time I shifted it would blow all 4 tires off lol. Boost was instant when I shifted to the next gear. And with the nitrous to boot, it was allot of fun!!
The new cams I have now are more steered towards more top end with even more midrange, so things are going to get very interesting needless to say.
sign me up for a set of those stick, lol

sounds like fp should offer both, I have a feeling us small turbo boys (Im looking at the 35r currently) won't need something as aggressive as the 4202r crew. I'll wait for someone else to do the testing though before I go out and say any set of cams are too aggressive for the turbo I want to run, lol.

sounds like fp is going to have another top notch product on their hands

And what headgasket would that be?

Well, I have tested ALLOT of head gaskets through out the years, cometic, mitsu, oem composite, hks. And finally settled on the felpro multi layer head gasket, it has been by far the best gasket I have ran. It is a spendy little bastard but it held 44lbs and a 100shot to boot without any issues. When I took the motor apart I literary had to peal the head gasket off the block, it was really stuck on there. It's allot more forgiving then any other gasket I have ran. Hell, my block crack before my head gasket let loose, and the head gasket came out looking great!! That was a full season beating the snot out of the car.

What torque do you use for those ARP's
I torque the ARP's down to 100ft.lbs with oil. Right were I have the block honed with the torque plate.

I was looking at them the other day, it took me a while to find out who sold them. They are pricey, but after hearing this from you and reading what Brent Rau says I suppose it may be worth it.

You guys can get the felpro from JNZtuning. JNZtuning has the best prices on them! Some places are going for over $200 on this gasket. I have no need to o-ring my block or head using this head gasket. I won't use anything else after using the felpro multi layer gasket.

Is it forgiving or the block and head has to be like a mirror for it to seal.

You need a smooth finish just like you would with a mitsu MLS.
